Ian McHenry graduated from Princeton in ’05 with a degree in politics. While still at university, Ian McHenry managed marketing, sales, and delivery for major national newspapers, successfully increasing operating margins by over 5%. Ian McHenry also worked as a Trip Leader and Climbing Wall Staff for Princeton University Outdoor Action, and competed as a middle-distance runner for Princeton University Track and Field. After graduating, Ian McHenry joined investment banking firm Raymond James, and then transitioned to the west coast with Deutsche Bank in San Francisco. Ian McHenry joined management consulting firm Oliver Wyman in 2007, where his primary focus was commercial aviation. Most recently, Ian worked with One Acre Fund in Kenya – an agriculture-focused microfinance program recognized and funded in part by organizations such as the Skoll Foundation.
A keen traveler, Ian McHenry has skippered the S/V Air Gadis around much of Southeast Asia since his term with One Acre Fund ended in August 2010. Remaining a committed climber and surfer, Ian McHenry finds the time to pursue these interests while traversing the globe.
